We have had some gorgeous weather lately and so with that comes yard work and bbq's. We've been talking about adding a fire pit so we decided to go ahead and do it. I had to dig up a bunch of grass and it took all afternoon to do, but we got it finished with a path included. I think it turned out pretty good considering we did the work ourselves. The kids are really excited about it and couldn't wait for us to have a fire and roast some marshmallows. So Saturday we fired up the bbq and had a yummy dinner and then finished off the night roasting marshmallows and making smores. It was fun and the kids loved it. Here are some pictures!

The girls! It was a fun night and we look forward to more bbq's, fires and marshmallows as summer approaches.
